Welcome to Octagon. By accessing or using the Octagon application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Octagon, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Octagon is a sports-focused application providing community features, competition tracking, referral programs, leaderboards, and related sports content. The Service may be accessed via a mobile application, web application, or any other platform made available by Octagon.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Octagon may offer referral rewards, leaderboard prizes, or other incentive programs from time to time. These programs are subject to their own terms and may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated.
By joining the Octagon waitlist, you consent to receiving communications about the app's development, launch, and related updates. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
All content, branding, logos, code, and materials available through the Service are the exclusive property of Octagon or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from Octagon.
By submitting content to the Service, you grant Octagon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit such content.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Octagon does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Octagon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Octagon's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to access the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. Octagon is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Use of such services is at your own risk.
Octagon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable for any such modifications, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
